Horoscopes for Sagittarius New Moon Solar Eclipse of December 3, 2021
“A Little Early Morning Moon” chalk pastel by Maria Theresa Maggi
The moon is new and eclipsed in Sagittarius in the tropical zodiac at 11:43 pm on December 3, 2021. It’s not a solar eclipse we will see here on the west coast, but its effects will be felt nonetheless.
The sign of Sagittarius is usually big on truth-telling—with a blunt, honest and often tactless delivery. Usually Sag energy is concerned only with the larger sweep of that truth, and once that has been discovered, gets bored with the details and moves on to the next adventure. At this eclipse time, that large generous or sometimes excessive sweep gets a Gemini style makeover. Instead of fastening our star to the far horizon, this eclipse may bring us back to what’s right in front of us in our own neighborhood. And we may also be compelled to accept that the truth is not so obvious. Perhaps, too, it is possible that two truths, or multiple truths, are simultaneously operating in a situation that demands our conscious awareness.
